After college, she began her teaching career at J.W. Faulk Elementary School where she taught for over 30 years before retiring in 2006. In her spare time, Janice enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, reading, and attending LSU football games. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A funeral service will be held at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Scott, Louisiana on Saturday, January 4th at 11:00am with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
