Pkhex Not Working Citra
It’s been a while since I’ve used PKHex, but I decided to fire it up again recently to check out some new features. Unfortunately, I ran into some trouble getting it to work with Citra. Here’s what happened:
I opened up PKHex and attempted to load a save file from my Citra folder. However, the program gave me an error message saying that the file was not compatible. I then tried opening up an older save file from when I last used PKHex, but had the same issue.
I did some research and found that there are some known issues with using PKHex with Citra. It seems that the current version of PKHex (16.3) is not compatible with Citra’s latest update (nightly 1279). This means that if you want to use PKHex with Citra, you’ll need to downgradePKHex to an older version (16.2 or lower).
However, even after doing this, I still couldn’t get PKHex to work properly with my save files. Every time I tried opening them, I got the same “incompatible file” error message. So unfortunately, it looks likePKHex and Citra just don’t play well together at the moment.
Hopefully this will be fixed in a future update!
