Halo Infinite is a first-person shooter video game developed by 343 Industries and published by Xbox Game Studios. The game is set in the Halo universe and follows the events of Halo 5: Guardians. In the campaign mode, players assume control of Master Chief Petty Officer John-117 as he crash-lands on Zeta Halo following the destruction of the UNSC Infinity.
As he explores the environment, he encounters hostile aliens known as the Banished. The player fights through these enemies to find allies and uncover why the Banished are on Zeta Halo. In addition to the campaign mode, Halo Infinite includes a multiplayer mode called Firefight.
